A delicious savoury hazelnut pesto, artisan made in Bronte, a village in Sicily. Hazelnuts nuts are added to Sicilian olive oil and ground to a fine pulp. Then a second quantity of coarser ground hazelnut puree is added to bring a crunchy texture to the pesto.
Ideal with: A perfect nutty combination for full bodied meats, hazelnut pesto also goes well with cheeses and second courses, perfect for pasta and gnocchi, even on a bruschetta and antipasti.
Ingredients: Hazelnuts 65%, extra virgin olive oil, salt and black pepper.
